Originating from the foot of the highest peaks in Europe, Joel has been passionately shooting photographs for most of his life, beginning with Instamatics, reflex cameras, and large format film, then developing images in dark rooms, and now embracing the possibilities of digital photography.

While primarily aiming to document the diverse places that life has taken him throughout his Engineering and Business career, he continually seeks to find and capture beauty in the mundane, striving to document life authentically as it naturally unfolds right before his eyes.

Recently, after completing a series of dedicated masterclasses, he has shifted his focus more intently toward portraiture, investing time in studying and mastering the use of artificial lighting to enhance his work.
